Educators

The ABE program loans a kit of research-grade equipment and supplies and offers professional development to allow teachers to conduct the lab activities with their students. Our evaluation results show than students involved in just one ABE course made a 20% gain in biotech learning.

Find an ABE program site near you for professional development opportunities and access to this exciting program! If you do not see a Professional Development Institute (PDI) listed for your local ABE region, please contact the program site to be notified for their next PDI. If you are not located in an ABE region, but wish to attend a PDI, please contact the Program Office; you will not be able to receive equipment and reagents through ABE if you are not in one of the current regions but can access the curriculum and are welcome to attend a PDI at your own expense.
