This project examines issues of race and racism using a variety of scientific lenses, and debunks many widely held misconceptions. Students use a variety of techniques to look at misconceptions, including the use of simulations, discussions, and laboratory techniques to extract, amplify and compare DNA sequences.
These materials were developed by ABE Master Teacher Fellow Tracy Serros of ABE San Francisco Bay Area as part of the ABE Master Teacher Fellowship.
