Rossella Lupo has been the coordinator of the Bari Distribution Center in the Apulia region since 2019. The distribution center’s reach extends to two neighboring regions, Molise and Basilicata, historically underserved areas of Southern Italy. Her contributions to the development, support, and expansion of the distribution center have been extraordinary, as has her work in strengthening collaborative relationships with the University of Bari and the Institute of Biosciences and Bioresources at the National Research Council.
Rossella is always humble, welcoming, and authentic, yet at the same time extremely perceptive, profound, cultured, attentive, and rigorous. She seamlessly integrates all her qualities in perfect harmony.

The Bari Distribution Center is a multi-regional community that continues to thrive despite the numerous challenges faced by the regions it serves. Rossella combines remarkable leadership skills with rare human, scientific, and cultural qualities. It is an honor and a privilege to have her as part of the ABE family.
