This month, the Program Office acknowledges the many contributions of Gail Webdell of ABE United Kingdom. Gail works at the site’s Cambridge distribution center as the site’s senior technician, and she has been an integral part of the ABE-UK team since 2011.

Gail runs workshops for teachers and technicians, leads outreach sessions for primary schools, and organizes a local technician group. She is passionate about making sure that trainee teachers are confident, capable, and health and safety aware. Gail has been instrumental in extending ABE’s reach through her networks and stakeholder links. In addition to these duties, Gail also has oversight of equipment and resources across the three hubs, provides advice about health and safety, and provides kit and technician support.

Gail, you are much appreciated by your local and international ABE communities. We especially value the positive and fun spirit you bring to all virtual and in-person gatherings. Thank you for being a part of ABE!
