What would ABE be without the wisdom and sunny personality of ABE Italy’s site director, Anna Pascucci? Whether it’s a new idea, a flower, a beautiful painting, or a colorful slide deck, Anna always finds ways to lift the spirits of her ABE colleagues while sharing the wonderful resources she has developed with her team on professional learning, sustainability, and inquiry-based science. A natural collaborator, Anna is always one of the first to jump in to ask questions, share insights and resources, and forge new connections between ABE sites. Anna has developed innovations such as the ABE Italy–ABE France “twinning” initiative, piloted with ABE France’s Alain Bessis, connecting their sites and teachers; she has also encouraged her teachers to become early adopters to harness the potential of LabXchange, and is an active member of both the ABE Scientific Inquiry and Professional Learning working groups. To Anna, we say “tanti baci,” and we are so happy you are part of the ABE community!
