Please join us in welcoming our latest ABE program site: ABE Central Ohio, based at Columbus State Community College (CSCC). Site Director John Paul Vandermark and Site Liaison/Coordinator Nick Grimmer will be joined by Naava Schottenstein, who will serve as the lead technician to support other CSCC faculty and the grants office in bringing ABE to local schools in central Ohio. Welcome to the ABE community.
CSCC faculty, from both career and technical education and biological sciences, will partner with local K–12 institutions, Columbus Promise, the Central Ohio Compact, and College Credit Plus, to offer professional development and support to secondary school teachers to help them bring ABE to their classrooms and to raise students' career awareness of opportunities in the biotech industry.
